ការបកប្រែអត្ថន័យ អាយ៉ាត់ 126 ជំពូក​ អាល់ហ្ពាក៏រ៉ោះ - ការបកប្រែជាភាសាអង់គ្លេស - បណ្ឌិត វ៉ាលីទព្លីហាស្ហ អូម៉ើរី - កំពុងដំណើរការលើវា - សព្វវចនាធិប្បាយនៃគម្ពីគួរអាន

126 : 2

وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنٗا وَٱرۡزُقۡ أَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ مِنۡهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۚ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ قَلِيلٗا ثُمَّ أَضۡطَرُّهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ

(126) ˹Mention Muhammad˺ When Ibrāhīm said: “My Lord! Make this town^[185] safe and provide its people with ˹all sorts of ˺ produce^[186], ˹especially˺ those of them who Believe in Allah and the Last Day”. He ˹Allah˺ said: “As for those who Deny, I will make them enjoy a little^[187] and then force them into the Punishment of Hellfire—miserable is their destination!”

[187] Granted that even the Deniers will also be provided for by God in this life, but theirs is only a transitory enjoyment which, no matter how great it might seem, is dwarfed by comparison to the everlasting provision and reward for Believers in Paradise (cf. 31: 23-24, 47: 12; al-Ṭabarī, al-Wāḥidī).
