وَأَنَا ٱخۡتَرۡتُكَ فَٱسۡتَمِعۡ لِمَا يُوحَىٰٓ

13. "And I have chosen you. So listen to that which will be revealed (to you). info

إِنَّنِيٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعۡبُدۡنِي وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكۡرِيٓ

 14. "Verily! I am Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât) for My Remembrance. info

15 : 20

إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخۡفِيهَا لِتُجۡزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا تَسۡعَىٰ

 15. "Verily, the Hour is coming - and I am almost hiding it from Myself - that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. info

16 : 20

فَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنۡهَا مَن لَّا يُؤۡمِنُ بِهَا وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ فَتَرۡدَىٰ

 16. "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell.), but follows his own lusts,[1] divert you therefrom, lest you perish. info

وَمَا تِلۡكَ بِيَمِينِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ

 17. "And what is that in your right hand, O Mûsâ (Moses)?" info

قَالَ هِيَ عَصَايَ أَتَوَكَّؤُاْ عَلَيۡهَا وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَىٰ غَنَمِي وَلِيَ فِيهَا مَـَٔارِبُ أُخۡرَىٰ

 18. He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." info

قَالَ أَلۡقِهَا يَٰمُوسَىٰ

 19. (Allâh) said: "Cast it down, O Mûsâ (Moses)!" info

فَأَلۡقَىٰهَا فَإِذَا هِيَ حَيَّةٞ تَسۡعَىٰ

 20. He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. info

قَالَ خُذۡهَا وَلَا تَخَفۡۖ سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيرَتَهَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

 21. Allâh said: "Grasp it and fear not; We shall return it to its former state, info

وَٱضۡمُمۡ يَدَكَ إِلَىٰ جَنَاحِكَ تَخۡرُجۡ بَيۡضَآءَ مِنۡ غَيۡرِ سُوٓءٍ ءَايَةً أُخۡرَىٰ

 22. "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side: it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, info

لِنُرِيَكَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا ٱلۡكُبۡرَى

 23. "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater Signs. info

ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ

 24. "Go to Fir‘aun (Pharaoh)! Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience, and has behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant)." info

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشۡرَحۡ لِي صَدۡرِي

 25. [Mûsâ (Moses)] said: "O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness). info

وَيَسِّرۡ لِيٓ أَمۡرِي

 26. "And ease my task for me; info

وَٱحۡلُلۡ عُقۡدَةٗ مِّن لِّسَانِي

 27. "And loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Mûsâ (Moses) put in his mouth when he was an infant]. (Tafsir At-Tabarî). info

يَفۡقَهُواْ قَوۡلِي

 28. "That they understand my speech. info

وَٱجۡعَل لِّي وَزِيرٗا مِّنۡ أَهۡلِي

 29. "And appoint for me a helper from my family, info

هَٰرُونَ أَخِي

 30. "Hârûn (Aaron), my brother. info

ٱشۡدُدۡ بِهِۦٓ أَزۡرِي

 31. "Increase my strength with him, info

وَأَشۡرِكۡهُ فِيٓ أَمۡرِي

 32. "And let him share my task (of conveying Allâh’s Message and Prophethood), info

كَيۡ نُسَبِّحَكَ كَثِيرٗا

 33. "That we may glorify You much, info

 36. (Allâh) said: "You are granted your request, O Mûsâ (Moses)! info

وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَيۡكَ مَرَّةً أُخۡرَىٰٓ

 37. "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). info
