أَوۡ يُوبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ وَيَعۡفُ عَن كَثِيرٖ
Or He could destroy them[1424] for what they earned; but He pardons much.
[1424] Meaning that Allāh could sink the ships by means of violent winds.
