5 : 34

وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوۡ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِيمٞ

(5) But those who strive against Our verses [seeking] to cause failure^[1219] - for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature.

[1219]- i.e., to undermine their credibility in order to defeat the Prophet (ﷺ).
